A trailer for the movie about Rhode Island-bred boxer Vinny Pazienza was posted Wednesday, and it looks promising. Called “Bleed for This,’’ the biopic stars Miles Teller as Vinny Paz, the flamboyant fighter nicknamed “The Pazmanian Devil’’ because of his relentless style of brawling. Judging from the trailer, the movie focuses, as you might expect, on the fighter’s comeback from a devastating 1991 car accident that broke his neck and could have kept him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Aaron Eckhart costars as trainer Kevin Rooney, and Katey Sagal and Ciaran Hinds play Vinny Paz’s parents. “Bleed for This’’ was directed by Ben Younger, best known for “Boiler Room,’’ and the ’80s fashion sense and soundtrack featured in the new trailer remind us of a David O. Russell film. “Bleed for This’’ opens in limited release Nov. 4 and everywhere Nov. 23.
