On Monday night, former Sox pitching ace Pedro Martinez stopped by The Smoke Shop, Andy Husbands’s new barbecue joint in Kendall Square. We’re told that Martinez came in around 10 p.m. and ordered “The Best Bar Wings,’’ one of the more popular items on the menu. During his visit, the Hall of Famer took photos with Husbands and Smoke Shop beverage director Moira Horan (pictured). . . . Wyclef Jean dined at STRIP by Strega Monday night, and model/actress Kate Upton was seen having lunch at Legal Harborside on Tuesday. . . . Celebrity chef and restauranteur Tiffani Faison is working with Pinkberry New England to create her own signature frozen yogurt, and even the name’s a real mouthful. It’s called “Sweet Corn Froyo With Blueberry Compote and Brown Sugar Buttermilk Biscuit Crumble.’’ Faison’s unique (and wordy) flavor will only be available in August, and 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Fisher House Boston, a place where military families can stay while their loved ones receive medical care. The charity is near and dear to Faison, who grew up an “Army brat’’ before embarking on her culinary career.
