According to Nielsen, the New England Patriots loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game was viewed by a whopping 53.3 million people. Apparently one of those people was former Pats tight end Aaron Hernandez, who’s serving life in prison for murder. In a letter obtained by TMZ and purported to be from Hernandez to a female pen pal, he says he has a TV in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center and he faithfully watches his former team. “Yes I still root for my squad and still love all the ones I loved,’’ Hernandez allegedly writes. “The closest I was with was probably Brady and whom I love to death and always will and only hope the best for them. But was cool with Julez, Branch . . . and ‘the BEST TE ever to walk on a football field’ Gronk!’’ Hernandez is not so keen on Patriots owner Robert Kraft in the letter, calling him “fake ass non loyal Kraft who told me he loved me every time he seen me but obviously shows his word ain’t [expletive].’’
