Brooklyn Nine-Nine 9 p.m., Fox

I love seeing who gets cast as the parents of regular sitcom characters. In what has become a trend, those parents are very often played by older sitcom stars. Katey Sagal, who starred in “Married . . . With Children’’ before she became an FX anti-hero and, most recently on “The Bastard Executioner,’’ a witch, will appear on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine’’ as Andy Samberg’s character’s mother.
