Costa emcees restaurant group’s gala

The Massachusetts Restaurant Association held its 14th annual Making the Future Bright scholarship awards gala on Tuesday at Danversport Yacht Club. The evening was hosted by Billy Costa of Kiss 108 and NESN’s “Dining Playbook,’’ and guests included Joe Piantedosi of Piantedosi Baking Co.,Manny Costa of Costa Fruit & Produce,Bobby Wong of Kowloon, Donato Frattaroli of Il Molo, Denise Herrera of Burtons Grill,Patrick Renna of Wahlburgers, Rico DiFronzo of Union Oyster House, Raphael Oliver of the Top of the Hub, and Jim and Kathi Turner of Turner Seafood.
