Visions of sugar plums dancing in your head are all well and good. Better yet is the tantalizing assortment of candies on which you can feast your eyes at the new Lolli and Pops store in the Natick Mall. The fast-growing San Francisco-based chain sells just about everything, from old-time favorites (Goo Goo Cluster, Look!, Sky Bar, Razzles) to international candies and fancy chocolate bars (Italian Amedei, Vietnamese Marou, Mexican Ki’ Xocolatl, Nashville’s Olive & Sinclair). In the glass case at the front of the store are French macarons, truffles, and chocolate-covered bonbons. Theme candies from Wonka, Harry Potter, Yowie, and Jelly Belly will tempt the young ones, while bounteous offerings of chocolate bark, caramels, marshmallows, cotton candy, and lollipops (of course) will please all ages. Bins are jammed with gummies, chocolates, licorice, and more ($13 a pound) and bear-shaped jars can be filled for $12 (each $5 gift token gets you or your recipient a refill). When sugar shock hits, try the sriracha hot-chile popcorn, which you can wash down with a bottle of bacon-flavored soda or Harry Potter Butterbeer. This fun shop takes its sweets (and swigs) seriously. Lolli and Pops, Natick Mall, 1245 Worcester St., Natick, 617-315-4100, www.lolliandpops.comLISA ZWIRN
