The Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee meeting continues Wednesday. The Fed, led by chair Janet Yellen, is expected to issue a statement afterward about the strengthened job market, but also acknowledge continued uncertainty about the effects of Britain’s exit from the European Union.

Stocks to watch today

Facebook Inc., Hologic Inc., State Street Corp., and Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. are expected to release their earnings reports on Wednesday for the fiscal quarter that concluded in June.
