Hot Stove Cool Music won’t rock until April

What happened to this year’s Hot Stove Cool Music? Isn’t this when the annual concert benefiting Paul and Theo Epstein’s Foundation to Be Named Later usually takes place? It is indeed, but organizers have decided to postpone this year’s show and hold it on April 29 when Theo Epstein’s World Series champion Chicago Cubs come to Boston to play the Red Sox. The musical guests haven’t been announced yet, but we’re betting the bill will be good. For the past few years, since Theo took over baseball ops for the Cubs, Hot Stove organizers have held a second show in Chicago, and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder has made the scene. Maybe he’ll be here in April.
