Parker, Spurs roll to ninth straight

Tony Parker scored a game-high 31 points on 13-for-19 shooting and Lamarcus Aldridge added 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to their ninth straight win, a 109-99 victory over the host Detroit Pistons Tuesday night.

The Spurs, who led by as many as 19 points, trailed at the end of the first quarter, 25-24. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who led the Pistons with 25 points, knocked down a 3-pointer at the end of the first to give Detroit a 1-point lead. But the Spurs outscored the Pistons, 29-19, in the second to seize control of the game and a 53-44 halftime lead.

Manu Ginobili had 15 points and Tim Duncan added 14 and nine rebounds for San Antonio.

Pacers 116, Suns 97 Paul George had 21 points and seven rebounds to help Indiana pull away in the fourth quarter. The Pacers outscored the visiting Suns, 36-21, in the final period, with George scoring 9 points. Monta Ellis had all of his 14 points in the second half. George Hill added 20 points and five assists, and CJ Miles scored 19 points for the Pacers. Devin Booker and Mirza Teletovic each had 19 points for Phoenix.

Thunder 101, Timberwolves 96 Kevin Durant shrugged off a slow start to finish with 30 points for visiting Oklahoma City, scoring 12 straight in the final three minutes to go along with seven rebounds. Russell Westbrook added 22 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds for the Thunder, who won for the seventh time in nine games.

Cavaliers 110, Mavericks 107 — LeBron James had 27 points and 11 rebounds and Kyrie Irving had 22 points as visiting Cleveland prevailed in overtime. Chandler Parsons led Dallas with 25 points.

Rockets 107, Grizzlies 91 — James Harden scored 25 points, Dwight Howard added 17 points and 14 rebounds and Houston beat host Memphis. Terrence Jones finished with 20 points for the Rockets, who won their fourth straight.

Bucks 106, Bulls 101 ­— Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 29 points on 10-for-14 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds to offset the game-high 30 points Jimmy Butler scored for visiting Chicago.
