Suffolk board ought to take hard look at itself
Re “Suffolk president hits back at board’’ (Page A1, Feb. 1): From my perspective as a former organization consultant, and reading that the president of Suffolk University, whom the board is trying to oust, is the fifth in five years, I have to wonder about the board, not the president. Either its selection process is weak, its expectations are poorly articulated, or its guidance is lacking. One would hope, for the sake of this important institution, that the board now does some serious introspection, and maybe, after what could amount to five failures, ousts itself.
