If it were up to Gisele Bundchen, our beloved No. 12 would be relaxing at home in his Uggs instead of taking hits on the field for the Patriots.

In an interview with Jim Miller on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Tom Brady said his supermodel spouse can’t wait for him to retire from the NFL.

“If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today,’’ Brady said, with a chuckle. “She told me that last night three times. And I said, ‘Too bad, babe, I’m having too much fun right now.’ You know, I feel like I can still do it.’’ Brady went on to say that his experience is an advantage in some ways, and that having a stable family life “does allow you to focus a little bit more, too, because there’s less B.S. in your life.’’

The bottom line: The 39-year-old quarterback has no plans of hanging up his cleats anytime soon. “So I’m going to work hard to be ready to go,’’ he said, “and I still plan on playing for a long time.’’
