Two Worcester men are facing charges after a series of searches uncovered six pounds of marijuana, other drugs, a gun, and a large amount of cash, prosecutors said.

Samuel Lopez, 28, and Joshua Rivera, 22, were arrested Tuesday night after searches of five different locations in Worcester and two vehicles, Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s office said.

Klonopin, a seizure drug, and Suboxone, a narcotic addiction treatment drug, were also seized prosecutors said. In addition, a gun, ammunition, and about $90,000 were found.

“This is a great example of multiple-county and multiple-agency teamwork to get drugs off the street,’’ Early said. “It is especially important with the crisis we are facing.’’

Lopez was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition, prosecutors said.

Rivera was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws, prosecutors said.
