Having gone to college in Boston, and having family there, I have an affection for the city and for the state of Massachusetts. It is with this affection in mind that I am writing the readership of The Boston Globe to ask a simple question: Even though Massachusetts is a majority liberal state, why on earth would you reelect an abrasive, rude, offensive person such as Elizabeth Warren?

I know both parties have their extreme sideshows, but at least Bernie Sanders was likable. The partisan divide in this country is probably here to stay, but the Democrats can’t allow the likes of Warren to represent the party. She epitomizes the worst of liberalism, and reelecting her could very well cost taking back the Senate or the House in 2018.
