The floods that have caused so much damage in West Virginia have apparently brought Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner back together, at least temporarily.

Radar reports that Garner, who grew up in the Mountain State and whose parents still live there, has enlisted her soon-to-be-ex-husband to help with a fund-raiser for flood-stricken residents.

The website reports that Garner’s parents are staying in a hotel because their home was destroyed by the floods. According to the AP, singer Brad Paisley has started a crowdfunding website campaign to raise money for flood-relief efforts in his native West Virginia. Paisley, who was born in Glen Dale, donated $100,000 to kick-start a GoFundMe account with a goal of bringing in $1?million. Paisley says in a statement that now that floodwaters are receding, ‘‘it’s time to pitch in and help in any way we can.’’
