Frank Gehry to receive Harvard Arts Medal

Renowned architect Frank Gehry has been chosen as the recipient of the 2016 Harvard Arts Medal, to be awarded by Harvard president Drew Gilpin Faust April 28. The presentation will include a conversation with Gehry and will be moderated by actor John Lithgow. Gehry is the 23rd recipient of the Harvard Arts Medal, which honors a distinguished Harvard (or Radcliffe) grad or faculty member. One of the most acclaimed architects of the 21st century, Gehry is known for his use of bold, postmodern shapes and unusual fabrications.
