Mortgage rates

New numbers for the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage will be released Thursday. Last week, Freddie Mac reported the average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage fell to 4.17 percent from 4.19 percent the week before.

Massachusetts jobless rate

The Massachusetts unemployment rate for January will be released Thursday. The Commonwealth’s jobless rate dropped to 2.8 percent in December.

Guppy Tank

Harvard’s Office of Technology Development is hosting the latest event in its Guppy Tank series, where two teams of Harvard life science students pitch their concepts to a panel of entrepreneurs and investors.
