Travelers are obsessed with finding a deal. Whether they’re playing the points game or carefully tracking prices through sites such as Google Flights, Hopper, or the airlines themselves, there’s no end to the aviation bargain hunt.

But a new survey from Dollar Flight Club, a travel membership service, is helping to make searching for cheap flights and destinations easier. Using tens of thousands of data points, including historical airfare trends and real-time deals, Dollar Flight Club compiled a list to help satiate those looking to save some cash.

Before we dive into the destinations, here’s some general advice on booking cheap fares from Jesse Neugarte, CEO of Dollar Flight Club:

Book domestic flights 28 days in advance and save up to 24 percent. Plan to book international flights 60 days in advance for 10 percent savings. Avoid peak travel days like Fridays and Sundays during spring and summer; opt for lower-demand days like Tuesdays or Wednesdays to save hundreds.

As someone who spends much of his life on airplanes and therefore books a lot of travel, I can confirm that Neugarte’s advice is sound. Also, his information is based on data, whereas mine is purely anecdotal, so I’d listen to what he’s saying. Other tips from Neugarte include:

Expand your airport search. Checking departures from alternative airports can save hundreds of dollars. Extending your search radius provides more options and better deals.

Set price alerts or use deal services. Ticket prices can fluctuate wildly. Use price alerts through platforms such as Google Flights or Skyscanner. Be ready to buy quickly because deals can disappear quickly.

Search for one-way flights. Sometimes, booking two one-way tickets on different airlines is cheaper than a round-trip on a single airline. For example, a one-way flight to Mexico City on Aeromexico and a return flight on Volaris can save money.

Don’t be afraid to rebook if prices drop. Many airlines allow free rebooking after you’ve purchased your ticket (check if your fare allows rebooking). Monitor prices using Dollar Flight Club or Google Flight Tracking. You’ll receive notifications when fares drop. Rebook to save or receive a credit for future travel.

And now (pause for dramatic suspense), here are the predictions for the 20 cheapest places to fly in 2025. This doesn’t mean airline tickets to these destinations are always a bargain. Still, based on an analysis of previous fares, plus prices for lodging, food, and activities at the destinations themselves, vacations can be less expensive if you keep an eye on these hot spots.
