New England Patriots safety Devin McCourty was in Dorchester Tuesday evening speaking to college-bound students at the 2016 All Scholar Athletes awards night at the Strand Theatre. Approximately 400 people attended the event, including scholarship recipient Keith Foster, who graduated from Fenway High School and will be attending Bridgewater State University in the fall. McCourty, who was there with his wife, Michelle, (they got married at the end of April) spoke to the students about his own personal experience as a high school athlete and as a college student-athlete at Rutgers University. Later that night, after the awards ceremony, McCourty was seen dining with Patriots teammates Patrick Chung, Duron Harmon and Logan Ryan at STRIP by Strega.
