College kids got a first glimpse of Ben Affleck’s latest, “The Accountant,’’ at an invite-only screening this week at the Revere Hotel’s Theatre One. The movie, which arrives in theaters next week, stars Affleck as a math whiz who makes a living as a forensic accountant for criminal enterprises. Director Gavin O’Connor was at the screening attended by students from BU, BC, Northeastern, Emerson, Suffolk, MIT, Tufts, and Harvard. He said he figured Affleck wouldn’t be available given his commitments to play the Caped Crusader and also direct “Live by Night,’’ but the actor’s agent actually called O’Connor to suggest Affleck for the role.
