When the Provincetown International Film Festivalannounced its lineup of feature films, several caught our eye. We learned that “Captain Fantastic,’’ a drama directed by Matt Rossand starring Viggo Mortensen, will screen on June 15 (opening night!) and “Strike a Pose,’’ a documentary film about Madonna’s male backup dancers, will screen on June 19. Other notable films include “Goat,’’ a frat boy drama starring James Francoand Nick Jonas, and “Morris From America,’’ a coming-of-age story directed by Chad Hartigan and starring Craig Robinson from “The Office.’’ Several VIPs will be attending the film fest, too: director Ang Lee will receive the 2016 Filmmaker on the Edge Award (he’ll also appear in a conversation with John Waters); actress Cynthia Nixon will be accepting the 2016 Excellence in Acting Award; and producer Effie T. Brown, whose credits include “But I’m A Cheerleader,’’ will host a filmmaker’s brunch.
