With less than two weeks before Oscar nominations will be announced, one Cambridge-based company is already saying they predict “Jackie,’’ starring Natalie Portman as Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, will win the coveted Best Picture award at this year’s Oscars, a film that hasn’t gotten a ton of attention as a serious contender.

Luminoso Technologies, company whose focus is analyzing artificial intelligence and language, claims that by analyzing the language moviegoers use in IMBD reviews of the top 50 movies from 2013 to 2016, they can guess what choice Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will make this year in regards to best picture.

Analysts at the company found reviews containing words like “narrative,’’ “cinematography,’’ “plot,’’ “visuals,’’ “stunning,’’ “experience,’’ and “masterpiece,’’ were more likely to receive an Oscar nomination. Beyond just glowing language in reviews, Luminoso found Oscar-winning films had detailed and sincere reviews written on IMBD by regular moviegoers.

For this year, Luminoso developed an algorithm to scan reviews similar to those that had won in the past, and have come up with a list of the top 13 movies they think will accept a nomination, with “Jackie’’ leading the pack.
