Montenegro Time
Makes 1 drink
3-4 sprigs fresh thyme, plus more for garnish
2 ounces Amaro Montenegro
1 ounce Lustau Dry Amontillado Sherry
½ ounce Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
1 dash Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Strip of orange peel (for garnish)
1. Place thyme in a mixing glass and muddle.
2. Add Amaro Montenegro, Sherry, Curacao, and bitters and stir.
3. Double strain into a coupette.
4. Take a few sprigs of thyme and wrap the strip of orange peel around them. Garnish with orange peel and thyme.
