The 2017 dates for the NASCAR Sprint Cup races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will fall into the same time frame as this year.

This season’s NASCAR races are scheduled for July 15-17 and Sept. 23-25 in Loudon. In 2017, the races will be held July 14-16 and Sept. 22-24, NHMS announced Thursday.

“We’re focused and ready to put on a great show in 10 weeks at the New Hampshire 301,’’ said David McGrath, the track’s executive vice president and general manager. “But to be able to provide our amazing fans with an opportunity to plan their vacations for next year already is certainly very important to us.’’

NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series has visited New Hampshire since 1993 and started making two annual stops in 1997. NHMS also has hosted a race in the Chase for the Cup since 2004.

Matt Kenseth (September) and Kyle Busch (July) are the defending champions.
